His Story

His Story
From the very beginning I was able to tell that something was different about Ana. Between the way she treated people, the light she shone, her beauty, and her intelligence, I knew Ana was special from the very first time we talked. I think that most people would agree that there is no one else quite like Ana; she is amazing.
I was very nervous for our first date (the kind of nervous that makes you scared and brave all at the same time). I was living in Richfield at the time while Ana was in Provo so it wasn't easy to take her on a date just any random day. I used a family camping trip as a good opportunity for a date as I was going through the area. Thinking of a date was a chanllenge because I knew nothing of the Provo area. I eventually decided on the odd idea to buy dishes from the thrift store and smash them in the woods. It was a blast! Without a doubt I can say that that was the best first date I've ever been on (I'm glad it was my last first date as well). I've never been able to open up and be myself so quickly like I did with her. I was only planning on the date being about 3-4 hours, but before we knew it, almost 8 hours had past and we were still loving every second.
Our second date was even more special than the first. It was on the way back from that same camping trip, so now I was presented with another challenge: not grossing her out from smelling like smoke, dirt, and all the other crazy camping smells. Being far away from home, there was no way I could shower. I had to stopped at 3 different truck stops beore I found one I could shower at. It took forever and was nothing short of a fiasco. However, it was more than well worth it. That date consisted of golfing, Chick-fil-a, and escape rooms.
I love Ana so much. She helps me to be my best self and gives me hope as I strive to be the person that she and I deserve. I couldn't ask for any greater blessing than to have Ana as my Eternal comapaion and to raise a family with her. She is my light and love; making covenants with her and God in the Temple is my greatest aspiration and hope.
